It's been a few weeks since my previous performances, but what a way to restart the engines! Last month I released my brand new single "Feeling the Good Life" which so far has been receiving a great response, from colleagues and fans alike. And last night at Street Report Magazine and Jen Rich Entertainment's "Southern Exposure Showcase" the response became greater not only by my performing (tuxedo and saxophone and all), but by also winning first place! My single will be in rotation on Swurv Radio real soon, and I'll be utilizing the contacts received from this wonderful networking opportunity.
Special shout-out to all the artists that peformed (Phene, Luney Tunez, Yungsta, Sevon to name a few), my man Shivy the host, the judges (SESAC's Cappricieo Scates and Grand Hustle's Amir Boyd), the event holders (Kim Ellis and Jen Rich), KC of Makin' It Magazine who made a quick appearance, Iceman with Iceman productions (get at him for beats at @Icemanprod on Twitter) and everyone else I may have missed.
